mood in motion is my chance to play.  as a writer you get used to creating in a very controlled environment.  and while i have been grateful for the opportunities i’ve had, i’ll be the first to admit writing a legal drama is more a clerical expression and not a creative one.

but with mood in motion i’ve explored the boundaries of film-making.  there’s an entire language of film to learn and use, it’s a total form of expression.  where as other art-forms have a limitation (a painting lacks movement like a song lacks picture), film can give you everything in one very leading package.

these chapters are about perspective and experience, mood and feeling, composition and form.  and all of it in motion.”
