loose ends This project was a scene study based on the last few pages of Michael Weller’s play “Loose Ends.” Shot on the normal “no budget, no time” format, what intrigued me about doing it was of course to work with my friend Max Phyo and his scene partner Tracey Thomas and also because I was interested in translating staged text into something cinematic. The challenge was to bring something that only filmmaking can do without taking away from the intended theater performance. The filming was meant to add to the experience and enhance the conveyance of the story. And thankfully - I’m proud to say - that’s exactly what we did.
